DUO LAMORNIANA
ABOUT US______________________________________
Duo Larmoniana are named after our Cornish home hamlet, Lamorna, situated in a secluded valley between Penzance and Land’s End.
Ricarda is playing the viola and Ute the piano. We have both been working as professional musicians at opera houses all over Germany, Ricarda as a violist in the orchestra and Ute as a repetiteur but decided to come to Lamorna to play chamber music and work as a duo near the sea.
We’re playing classical repertoire and would like to contribute to the rich art scene that’s omnipresent. We’re performing at all sorts of venues like churches, village halls, one or the other National Trust property, we play concerts for the residents of care homes as well as for everybody else who would like to listen.
In December 2018 we founded the Lamorna Proms concert series which became a great success and now continues every year
NEWS___________________________________________
We're happy to have added St Hilary Church to our list of concert venues and we're now also resuming our concerts at Ponsandane Care Home, Penzance, on a bi-monthly basis.
